Sara Guidolin is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and artist based in Amsterdam. Growing up in a house of visual artists, she started her music studies at the age of five, doing classical choir and piano in a private music school.She went on to study cello at the age of eleven and studied it in conservatory for seven years, occasionally performing in orchestras and doing solo and ensembles classical concerts.
At the end of high school she developed a passion for jazz music, leading her to study piano, harmony and singing in a music school in Milano. She continued her jazz studies at the Conservatorio G. Verdi of Milano, graduating in 2022 with the highest evaluation in Jazz Voice. During this period she was involved in different projects as a singer and pianist, singer and cellist, with big band and in bands as singer, while developing a passion for writing her own compositions.
In 2023 she moved to the Netherlands after being admitted to the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam for the Master of Jazz Voice, graduating in 2025. Based in Amsterdam she started to collaborate with many musicians of the music scene in different projects such as “Saturno Santos Something”, “Brigadera”, “Ingoma Yesintu” and many others.Throughout the years she has performed in different and prestigious European venues and festivals such as “La Casa del Jazz”, “Bucharest Jazz Festival”, “Het Muziektheater”, “Roode Bioscoop”, “Space Is The Place”, “JazzMi”.
She recently released a single called “everything i thought on monday”, a sort of modern vocalese dialogue between her and her cello. This single is the first track of an album that will be out soon on all streaming platforms.
Her adventurous and versatile way of conceiving music and performance (shifting from one instrument to another, making her own album artworks and stage garments with crochet), is really personal and interdisciplinary, including visual exploration and blending freely different genres through composition and improvisation.
