Lorenzo was born in Biella, Italy, in 1991. Growing up in a musical environment, with a mother who was a singer and an uncle who was a classical pianist, he developed a passion for music and began playing the electric bass at the age of 13.

His desire to deepen his knowledge of music led him from Milan to the United States and ultimately to settle in Amsterdam, where he successfully graduated from the Master’s program at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2021.

During his time in Amsterdam, Lorenzo had the opportunity to collaborate with various artists and became a key member of Jim Van Der Zee’s band. Jim Van Der Zee, the winner of The Voice of Holland in 2018, and Lorenzo toured extensively throughout the Netherlands from 2018 to 2020. In early 2020, Lorenzo also embarked on a tour in China with his own musical project, performing at prestigious venues in Shanghai and Beijing.

Lorenzo’s musical versatility is deeply rooted in jazz and pop, allowing him to excel in a wide range of musical environments. Throughout his studies, he received numerous awards and scholarships. Notably, with the 3Albot Jazz Quartet, he received the “Chicco Bettinardi Award” and participated in “Jazz By the Pool.” In 2020, his own project reached the semifinals of the Keep an Eye Jazz Award, further highlighting his talent and dedication to music.

Lorenzo has many years of experience teaching students of all levels and ages, and he is eager to share his immense musical knowledge and passion with you or your child.
