About Us

Muziekacademie Amsterdam, originally established as Gitaaracademie L. A. Mayer, was founded in 2016.

Following the expansion of our curriculum to include a wider range of lesson types and musical instruments, the music school underwent a transition in the year 2023, adopting the name Muziekacademie Amsterdam.

We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality music education to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our teaching staff comprises highly skilled performers who are equally experienced educators.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom. We continuously explore innovative approaches to captivate and motivate our students. In addition to offering top-notch music lessons, we provide numerous opportunities for our students to perform, connect, and grow. Throughout the year, we organize a multitude of student concerts, workshops, and social events.

Our ultimate objective is to cultivate a vibrant musical community within Amsterdam, sparking the passion for learning and playing instruments in as many individuals as possible.
