We offer band workshops for kids starting at the age of 12. Any instrumentalists and singers are welcome to join!
There is no better way for young individuals to develop teamwork skills than by playing in a band, rehearsing, and performing together.
The musical advantages of participating in an ensemble are countless. Students learn to refine skills such as awareness of blend and balance, intonation, precision in keeping time, and attention to detail when reading sheet music. Beyond these benefits, participating in a musical ensemble can be incredibly enjoyable and can serve as additional motivation for children to practice their instruments.

Adults
Have you always wanted to play in a band? At Muziekacademie Amsterdam, our band workshops for adults bring musicians together to rehearse, develop their skills and experience what it’s like to play and perform as part of a real band.
The workshops are open to musicians from advanced beginner level onwards and are guided by highly experienced professional musicians. You’ll work on songs together, develop your timing and ensemble skills, learn how to communicate and rehearse effectively as a band, and prepare for live performances.
It’s a great opportunity to make music, meet other musicians, improve your playing and have a lot of fun along the way.
